THE STUDIO WORKS ON THE IDEA THAT A SUBSTANTIAL UNDERSTANDING OF TODAY’S TECHNOLOGY (INTERNET OF THINGS, BIG DATA, MACHINE INTELLIGENCE …) CHANGES THE PERSPECTIVE TO ARCHITECTURAL THEORY AND WILL RESULT IN DIFFERENT ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNS AND BUILDING CONSTRUCTIONS.

ON THE DREAMS OF THE LAST NIGHT
Episode two LISTENS to the talks of the Freihaus and SHOWS the chambers’ fictions, anxieties, and desires, in FULL COLORS. It deals with millions of images and movie clips curious about architecture, to construct PANORAMIC VIEWS and SHORT MOVIES.
The panoramas of DREAMS show everything that the FREIHAUS knows, collapsed. Dreams are the distinguishable noise of places, objects, and actions. They are one leap away from rationality and specificity. The panoramas of ICONS show the resemblances of the chamber’s anxieties and desires, bright and sharp. Icons are provocations of outrage and fortune, of melancholia and sanguinity. Their generosity engenders the talks that the FREIHAUS is to host. The ATLASES show the constitution of the FREIHAUS, in colors. They are navigable arrangements with names and borders, with lands and seas. They cover the world and set the fertile ground for discussion. SHORT MOVIES are linear paths drawn on the panoramas. They take us on a journey where moods are set, objects distinguished and actions take place.

Episode 3 focuses on the composition of an architectural model that looks both at and through the Panoramas from the first two episodes. The scenography here acts as an Approximation Demontablé consisting of many possible renderings, the composure of which comes from the projective streams between that which is heard, and that which is seen.
