More than other architectural elements, windows are telling the building’s stories. They engages the expression of facades, they gives historical, programmatic and technical makers. They organises the relationship between the scales of city and edifice, from one side of the envelope to an other. A window is both a private and a public property.
By its dimensions, a window adjusts the light, the intimacy and the views ; and by its position the way to occupy the thickness of an envelope. So it has to do with construction as much as using and experience of (urban/inside) spaces.
