I do not see the project as a constant progression curve but rather as a parabola. We always begin very high, with many possibilities, abstractions and imagination. It makes the project looking easier than it really is. But this initial excitement gives way to the discovery of complexity, choices to be made, emerging problems, ineffective options, questions and doubts. This is the moment when curve goes down. And then, things starts to get together. The sense we find in the projet rebuild itself slowly. So the curve goes up again. The project become more and more alive and you see the result of your work and the energy you spent. In the end you always feel that the difficulty you faced in a project in proportional to the sense and qualities it finally has. If you went down to the bottom of the curve, it is probably is the right project.
